To clarify, I knew curse words, and the common slang for the 90’s and 2000’s, but I didn’t know the street names for all the drugs, and I didn’t know a lot of sexual terms. So, when I got to my local community college, I was lost in a sea of derogatory terms that I didn’t know. I was never hurt by this, and once I started learning them, I mostly used it to know who I didn’t want to spend extra time with.
