While I was found to have done everything I needed to do to protect my daughter, and no action was taken against me, my daughter finally decided she wanted her abuser to see justice. At age six, she wasn’t ready to come forward. We went through the process. However, her abuser never did see justice because it’s all he-said she-said. There wasn’t any physical evidence when she was six, and there was only her account to go on at age 8.
