I think, though, that I would have come to the position of telling him the Salvation Army can help him and offer to drive him there. They make you look for work, obtain work, and save every dollar toward a security deposit and rent, etc. I think they help with the deposit if the person has done what they’re suppose to, but there’s no free swingin from the vines! They’re OUT after breakfast - that’s when they’re suppose to be lookin for work - and cannot return until supper.
