The rest of us awoke to flashlights shining into our tents and state troopers telling us it was time to pack up and leave. The three late-night swimmers made too much noise (they were reportedly talking and splashing) and the camp ground owners called in the troopers to have us all awakened and kicked out for “disturbing the peace.” We didn’t yet know about our noisy friends so we kept asking how a bunch of sleeping campers could have made too much noise.
