We had a meeting in mid-May (they only go until the end of May!) about the issue. Her teacher wanted to hold her back because of it. A teacher from EVERY grade, her own teacher, the principal, VP, and even the school counselor were there for the meeting. I thankfully brought her work from home and pulled it out when her actual teacher - thankfully - had an emergency she had to attend to during the meeting. Everyone was floored.
