The old fool passed me with a C average; but we shared a mutual contempt for the better part of two years, as I accumulated another 12 hrs. at a 2.0 grade point. Freshman and sophomore classes destroyed my grade point average. I had to average a 3.4 in junior and senior classes to graduate with an overall 2.9 gpa. Everything is louder when it’s very cold outside. If you live near a major airport, when the temperature drops well below freezing, the low-flying aircraft will sound like they’re landing on your lawn.
