I recently had a student who had made racist comments to a teacher. For the curious, he was white while the teacher was black. He has a record of doing anything he can to disrupt a class. Luckily, he was moved to another teacher’s class, but none of that was me or my choice, just the fickle hand of fate. If I cannot keep those students out of my room, students who are clearly dangerous or who will what makes you think I can do anything to control my class roster?
