This was junior high, but I think it conveys the point (before Columbine, just for reference). Our Bible teacher tried to convey the idea of different people seeing the same event and taking away different pieces of that event. He came in with a mask and a fake gun, pretending to rob the classroom. That would never happen today. You would have multiple law suits. Bad things would happen to kids as they panicked. But, school shootings basically only happened in inner city schools at that point, so I guess no one really thought about real danger at our school.
