I was proud of myself for sharing how I felt, instead of holding it in and stewing over everything. I chose not to feed the fire of my feelings since I had expressed myself. Did I mention my boss was a therapist who ran the psych ward of a major area hospital? The work we do now has nothing to do with psychology, but I know she plays minds games with me. I refuse to compete because she would win. So I choose to be my authentic self, while being very aware of who she is and how she operates.
