His sleazeball image came into sharp focus when he insisted on knowing whether I was on birth control, which was none of his business. His concern might have been that I’d soon be pregnant and become a burden, I don’t know, but my concern suddenly was just how entertaining I was expected to be to the clients. I was out of there in a flash, and went straight to my agency to relate the encounter. Last I heard they had dumped him as a client. It was creepy.
