I had a high school teacher that I definitely had a love-hate relationship with. He was a brand new teacher, not that much older than us students. His first year teaching also happened to be the year that my class entered high school, and he was assigned to be the class advisor for our class. I took every class he taught because he really was a good teacher. He made history come alive. He taught areas of history that are still interests of mine today. Medieval History. Russian History. Modern European History. He’s one of the people I credit for giving me a love and passion for history.
