It's not until high school (our last four years of public schooling in the United States) that many districts can offer different levels where students who are the highest achievers are issolated from the lowest. In those classes, less class time is taken serving kids who have learning or behavior disabilities, more information is covered and activities are done, and a more rigorous curriculum is covered. These are the classes comparable to the ones in other nations, except those nations have had their children in classes like these for years.
